Studio Policy

Non-Refundable Commitment Fee

A non-refundable commitment fee of $100.00 (+13% HST) is due immediately upon booking to secure all cosmetic tattoo appointments. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment due the day of your appointment. The remaining balance must be paid in full. The deposit is transferable once with a 48-hour notice minimum and valid for six months from the date it is received. All other services require a valid credit card (without charge) to book. Cancellations will automatically result in a forfeit of your deposit. All transactions are final, and no refunds will be issued. All deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation/No-Show Policy

I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. I respectfully request 48 hours notice for cancellations and appointment changes. If you choose to cancel your appointment without giving 48 hours notice, your deposit will be forfeited.

If you must reschedule an appointment, notify me 48 hours in advance via contact@browsbylarissa.com. For your convenience, all clients receive a confirmation email upon booking that includes a link to "Change/Cancel Appointment."

If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours or are a no-show, Larissa will charge 100% of the remaining service balance to the credit card on file. In the event of a no-show, you will lose access to online booking and can only rebook by paying for future appointments in advance.

Late Policy

Please understand that appointment times are limited. I enforce a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. I cannot and will not rush my work. Please familiarize yourself with the location and parking. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and your deposit will be forfeited. The Same-Day Cancellation Policy is applied to late arrivals. For your convenience, an automated email reminder is sent to you 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This reminder includes location and parking information. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Larissa at contact@browsbylarissa.com.

Covering Previous Work

Before booking, you must obtain approval if you have previously undergone Microblading or received Permanent Makeup from another artist, regardless of its fading or the time that has elapsed since the procedure. Not all existing work can be covered without removal first. If you book an appointment without disclosing previous tattooing, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Additionally, it is not considered a touch-up if Larissa did not do your Permanent Makeup (Microblading, Microshading, Powder Brow). Touch-up pricing is reserved for current clients only. Any new client approved to book will be subject to standard pricing. Corrective work requires more time and material than a traditional Powder Brow appointment.

For pre-approval, please submit a clear photo of your face/eyebrows to contact@browsbylarissa.com.

Complimentary Retouch Policy

Attending a 4-8 week touch-up session after your Powder Brow or Nano Brow treatment is mandatory to ensure the best results and promote longevity. The initial treatment fee includes the cost of the touch-up, which Larissa will schedule for you on the day of your first session. Please attend the touch-up within 4-8 weeks to avoid additional charges. If you cancel your appointment without 48 hours notice or fail to show up, you will lose the right to a complimentary touch-up.

You are entitled to one complimentary touch-up. After that, any additional retouch will incur a fee. A "Session 3: 90-Day Maintenance Retouch" may also be necessary to reinforce any new adjustments.

Accepted Payment Methods

I do not accept e-transfer as a method of payment. Payment options include cash, debit, credit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay (contactless devices, tap-and-go cards, chip cards). Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

Right to Refuse Service

Although it is scarce, Brows by Larissa reserves the right to refuse service for reasons such as, but not limited to:

1. Undisclosed medical condition or skin condition (i.e., arriving with a sunburn).

2. Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

3. Any behaviour that might compromise my ability to work safely and comfortably.
